The following abalone violation cases were heard in Ten Mile Court, Westport Mendocino County California:

Bailiff: Deputy Kent Rogers

- Shuk Y. Cheung was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,674 for having four abalone over the limit.

- Keng M. Ha was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,350 for having one abalone over the limit.

- Zhi R. Huang was fined $1,350 and placed on a 12-month probation for possessing one abalone over the limit.

- Ivan K. Ng was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,458 for having two abalone over the limit.

- Ken M. Ng was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,458 for having two abalone over the limit.

- Minh V. Nguyen pleaded no contest to misdemeanor conspiracy to take abalone, three over the limit, and was placed on a 24-month probation, ordered to have no fishing license for one year, and must pay a fine of $1,566.

- An X. Trinh pleaded no contest to conspiracy to take abalone. He was placed on a 24-month probation, ordered to have no fishing license for one year, and was fined $1,566.

- Fang Q. Wang was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,350 for having one abalone over the limit.

- Gloria and James Barreras were arraigned for alleged abalone violations and will enter a plea on June 17.

- Michael P. Briggs was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,458 for having two abalone over the limit.

- Wei M. Chen was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,458 for possessing two abalone over the limit.

- Tim Cheung was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,350 for having one abalone too many.

Jose F. and Wilbert Gonzalez were placed on 12-month DA Diversions and ordered to give game wardens at Fish & Game notice of where and when they would be diving for abalone.

- Sang V. Huynh was placed on a 24-month probation when he pleaded no contest to possessing six abalone over the limit. He was also sentenced to five days in MCJ (SWAP authorized), fined $1,566, and ordered to forfeit his dive gear.

- Bach T. Le was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,566 for possessing three abalone over the limit.

- Viet C. Tran was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,566 for having three abalone too many. He was also charged with having an overlimit of Turban Snails but that charge was dismissed by the court in exchange for Tran's plea.

- Nam V. Tu was fined $196.50 for possessing an overlimit of Turban Snails.
