Mendocino County Court Report
The following cases were heard in Ten Mile Court. - Michael R. Henrie and Timothy S. Karley were placed on 12-month probations and fined $1,566 each for taking three abalone over the limit. They also had to forfeit their dive gear that was seized on the day of the incident. - Timothy S. Karley (see Henrie above). - Ken G. Lin was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,566 for taking three abalone over the limit. - Wei J. Lin pleaded no contest to wasting fish (abalone) and was placed on a 12-month probation and fined $1,673, He was ordered to forfeit his dive gear. - Otis G. McCain and Rud Wasson were placed on 12-month probations, fined $1,458 each, and ordered to forfeit their dive gear when they pleaded no contest to possessing two abalone each over the limit. Wasson's plea was in absentia. - Nam H. Ngo was held to answer at his prelim for conspiracy to take abalone.
